Who we are

Incubator for Social Enterprises and Entrepreneurs for Development (ISEED) at IRMA, started in August 2016

Incubator for Social Enterprises and Entrepreneurs for Development (ISEED) at IRMA, started in August 2016, supports and nurtures early-stage rural, social and collective enterprises. ISEED encourages individuals and institutions to experiment with empathy helping them innovate new products, services and institutions that impact livelihoods and liveability of the communities

In October 2021, ISEED evolved and has been incorporated legally as a section 8 Not for Profit under Companies act 2013 as an individual entity focusing on the objective of supporting and nurturing the social enterprises and collectives through capacity building, funding, Go-to-Market, Go-to-Technology support. The new possibilities have widened scope of ISEED to engage better with supporting early-stage social enterprises and effectively overcome the issue of dependency on external funds to sustain the transformation exercise through time. This addresses the key issue of becoming sustainable and scalable model for a social incubator.
